A what?

A Weekend.

It just so happens that I was out in nature more this one weekend than in most months.

Friday was special, as the weekend started early. It was bright and sunny out, and i had not seen my nephew, so I decided to ride my bike over to my brother’s place. I rode to his old apartment, as no one ever told me that he had moved to his in laws. So i trek from this old apartment to his new one, just to not be able to get ahold of him. UGH! So i turn back and go home. I tell you what though, i enjoyed the bike ride, and the work out.

Friday night, i bailed on Danny to hang out with Neal. Mostly was not feeling in a dancing mood. Its ok, because Danny enjoyed his bowls and buffy.

On Saturday Neal and I went to my favorite store, Ikea, where i finally got the tea pot, along with a oh so cute and handy beach bag, and some more lucky bamboo.

On the way home, we got in a tiny fender bender on one of my least favorite stretches of the freeway, the 10 to 605 transition. It turned out well, with pretty much no damage, but it sounded much worst at the time.

After that we took a nice hike, where I coursed not having a camera for we came across the most breathtaking patch of mustard seed plants ever. They were super tall, about 6 feet, and jam packed with flowers. It was so great. I’ll be going back to take pictures soon!

I came back home, to clean up and take a nap after that, as i was a bit tired, when Danny hit me up to go to Anaheim for Uriel’s party. We went, we partied, we danced, we left. Other awesome things happened too. Mostly we hanged with Mel and drank. :-)

Kites 2

Today, was the best day though. The picnic club had a bit of a lackluster attendance, but the people who did show up were hells of fun, and it made it really relaxing. Plus everyone showing up late, gave me a moment to rest some more, under the shade of a huge tree. It was the perfect weather for a picnic. Perfect.

Badminton, was played, well as horseshoe toss, and kite flying, and we kept it simple with just chips and sandwiches.

A good game of badminton, is always my favorite, and I totally stank by the time the picnic ended.

Alas, all the fun had to end, but at least the dishes got done once i got back home.

Huzzah!

Enjoy the rest of the week, y’all. (via The Daily Dribble Of MischievousN3RD)
